To celebrate our move to the St. Philips Centre from the late, lamented Man on the Moon, Cluzion Music and Menelik are proud to present KOKO KANYINDA and his CONGO All-STARS to top the bill at a great evening that includes the best in live music and good food plus an early evening percussion workshop.

Our second gig featured the Ivory Coast French-African grooves of Joseph Koutoua and special guests. Music to feed the soul, move the body and challenge the mind. Original songwriting, creative covers and a fusion of influences from chanson through afrobeat to reggae.

The evening includes the launch of Joseph's new anti-mosquito awareness campaign 'DJEKUADJO' (Ivorian patois for malaria). Come and find out more about this important initiative.

The first gig featured composer, poet and citizen of the real world, Tariq Ankenanton who developed his musical art after studying African rhythm under the tutelage of Griot master Thebe Lipere. With diverse influences such as Baaba Maal, John McSherry, 70's funk legends Parliament and The Clash, the Connection bring a mix of world rhythms to chill the soul and shake the booty
